Beaconry's crawler

Beaconry is a price-tracking and comparison service for model railway and tabletop wargaming hobbyists. To show up-to-date prices, we periodically visit product pages at the retailers we cover.

Our crawler identifies itself honestly rather than pretending to be a browser. Every request carries this User-Agent:

BeaconryBot/1.0 (+https://www.beaconry.co/bot)

We rate-limit our own requests and only visit the product pages needed to track price and availability: we do not attempt checkout, account creation, or any action a human wouldn't take.
